This year's conference will be held at the Islands & Oceans Visitor Center. A forum for presenting scientific and traditional ecological knowledge relevant to Kachemak Bay and its surrounding coasts and waters in order to foster an informed and engaged community of environmental researchers, educators, and decision-makers. Teachers can attend the conference for credit!  You can earn 1 credit through the Kenai Peninsula College by attending the keynote, the teacher workshop on ROVs and a minimum of 2 sessions of talks.  There are also multiple workshops and field trips being offered on Wednesday and Thursday prior to the start of the conference.  To learn more about what is being offered for teachers, go to http://www.kbayscience.org/for-teachers.html.
